Italian citizens and foreign citizens legally resident in Italy, to carry out a business meeting, a job with a Saudi customer etc. must apply for this type of visa.

In this case you will need to have:

• Permit or Residence Card (foreign citizen)
• Valid identity card
• Authorization from Saudi Ministry by customer in Saudi Arabia
• Letter on headed paper from the Italian company addressed to the Saudi Embassy
• Visura Camerale recent Italian company
• Photo card 3,5x4,5 cm recent with white background

Work Visa

Italian citizens, to be hired and paid by a Saudi Employer, must apply for this type of visa.

In this case you must have these minimum documents:

• Passport valid for at least 6 months
• Valid Italian Identity Card
• Ministerial Authorization/Registration with the Saudi Ministry of Labour (Tafwuid)
• Copy of the employment contract with the Saudi Employer, endorsed by the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Copy of the Saudi company's business license

Tourist/Religious Visa, visa for women and other special categories

Foreign citizens legally resident in Italy must have:

• Passport valid for at least 6 months
• Permit or Residence Card and Valid Identity Card
• Authorization from the Saudi Ministry if you are invited and hosted by someone resident in Saudi Arabia (relative or friend)
• Booking of non-operational flight
